Q: Where do your clothes come from?
A: Everywhere and nowhere. We source secondhand only—some pieces are handpicked from estate sales, some from folks with good closets and better taste. We don’t do fast fashion dumps or mystery pallets. Every item is chosen because it felt like a story worth continuing.
Q: How do I know what will fit me?
A: Great question. Every listing includes flat measurements and notes on fit, stretch, and cut. We don’t believe in “true to size”—we believe in your size. Check against your favorite piece at home, and when in doubt, message us for the real-talk rundown. No weird angles, no Photoshop. Just fabric, facts, and feelings.
Q: Can I return something if it doesn’t work out?
A: We accept returns for store credit on most items, because sometimes things just don’t vibe once they arrive. You’ll need to request a return within 7 days of delivery, and the item must come back in the same condition we sent it. That said—if something arrived damaged or way off from the listing, we’ll always make it right.
Q: What’s the condition of the clothes?
A: We sort into three tiers:
- Tier 1: Pristine, like it’s whispering “first wear.”
- Tier 2: Lightly loved, minor signs of life (and charm).
- Tier 3: Worn-in wonder, visible flaws that add to the story.
We don’t stock anything we wouldn’t wear ourselves (and we have standards).
Q: Do you hold items?
A: We don’t, usually. It’s first come, best dressed. But if you’re trying to make a mini haul and need 24 hours to pull it together, send us a message—we’ll see what we can do.
Q: Is this stuff really secondhand? It looks too good.
A: Blushes in linen. Yes. That’s the point. Codetta is about curating, not collecting. We believe secondhand should feel chosen—not like you got the leftovers of someone else’s phase.
Q: How do I care for vintage pieces?
A: Gently. Kindly. Like the ex who didn’t suck. We include care tips when needed, but in general: cold water, air dry, and never underestimate the power of a steamer.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Not yet, but we’re working on it. For now, we ship within the U.S.—wrapped with care, no plastic glam, just practical beauty.
