Where do your clothes come from?

Everywhere and nowhere. We source secondhand only. Some pieces are handpicked from estate sales, some from folks with good closets and better taste. We don't do fast fashion dumps or mystery pallets. Every item is chosen because it felt like a story worth continuing.

How do I know what will fit me?

Great question. Every listing includes flat measurements and notes on fit, stretch, and cut. We don't believe in "true to size.” We believe in your size. Check against your favorite piece at home, and when in doubt, message us for the real-talk rundown. No weird angles, no Photoshop. Just fabric, facts, and feelings.

Can I return something if it doesn't work out?

We accept returns for store credit on most items, because sometimes the chemistry isn't there in person. You'll need to request a return within 7 days of delivery, and the item must come back in the same condition we sent it. If something arrived damaged or way off from the listing, we'll always make it right.

What's the condition of the clothes?

We sort into three tiers: Pristine (like it's whispering "first wear"), Lightly Loved (minor signs of life and charm), and Well-Worn Wonder (visible wear that adds to the story). We don't stock anything we wouldn't wear ourselves. And we have standards.

Do you hold items?

We don't, usually. It's first come, best dressed. But if you're trying to make a mini haul and need 24 hours to pull it together, send us a message. We’ll see what we can do.

Is this stuff really secondhand? It looks too good.

Blushes in linen. Yes. That's the point. Codetta is about curating, not collecting. We believe secondhand should feel chosen, not like you got the leftovers of someone else's phase.

How do I care for vintage pieces?

Gently. Kindly. Like the ex who didn't suck. We include care tips when needed, but in general: cold water, air dry, and never underestimate the power of a steamer.

How do monthly drops work?

Every month, Codetta releases a themed collection built around a mood, a palette, and a story. Sometimes a season, sometimes a feeling, sometimes a specific kind of Tuesday. Follow the journal if you want the full narrative. Shop fast if you want the piece.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet, but we're working on it. For now, we ship within the U.S., wrapped with care, no plastic glam, just practical beauty. Sign up for the newsletter and you'll hear about international shipping first.

Do you have a sizing guide?

Yes, and it's honest. We measure each piece flat and tell you what we find: chest, waist, length, sometimes sleeve. We include notes like "runs generous through the hips" or "structured through the shoulders." Our sizing guide lives at /sizing, but the listing itself is always your best source.

Can I sell or trade with you?

We're selective by design. But we do occasional intake periods and community swaps. Follow Codetta Culture for updates, or reach out directly. Good clothes deserve good homes. We take that seriously.

Are your pieces checked for quality?

Everything is inspected before it's listed. We note flaws honestly in descriptions, whether it’s a small pull, a faded hem, or a missing button, because you deserve to know. "Vintage wear" is different from "damaged." We'll always tell you which.
