About
Our Story
Codetta began as a quiet refusal.
After years in corporate rooms built for sameness, I wanted a life that felt textured again, measured not by titles, but by time.
I started curating clothes the way I wished people approached each other: with curiosity, respect, and a willingness to see what’s underneath the surface. What began as a few racks of secondhand finds turned into a philosophy: style as self-definition, not compliance.
Every piece in Codetta carries history without hierarchy. I choose garments for how they move, how they’re made, and how they make you feel. Grounded. Expressive. Free.
This isn’t a store. It’s a slow unraveling of old systems.
A space for autonomy, access, and joy.
A final note in the song of fast fashion. Soft, deliberate, and still ringing.
The Face Behind Codetta
Hi, I’m Meredith. I started Codetta after years of working in spaces where creativity had to fit inside a dress code.
This project began as a way to reclaim beauty, autonomy, and pace and became a living archive of what slow fashion can feel like when it’s done with care.
When I’m not curating collections, I’m usually behind the camera, steaming pieces for a drop, or styling friends in the studio until something clicks.
Every photo, post, and listing is personal. Made by hand, not by algorithm.
Because I want you to feel what I felt when I started this:
that your style isn’t something to fix. It’s something to remember.
Who We Dress
Codetta is for people who crave meaning in what they wear.
For those tired of fast fashion’s noise and thrift chaos, people who want secondhand without the overwhelm.
We offer curated, ready-to-wear collections built around texture, tone, and narrative. Each drop tells a story: seasonal, but not trend-driven; inclusive, but never performative.
Our community spans stylists, artists, teachers, caregivers, and quiet revolutionaries who see clothing as expression, not expectation. Whether you’re rebuilding your wardrobe or redefining your values, Codetta meets you where you are, with honesty, accessibility, and care.
You don’t have to dress like everyone else to belong here.
You just have to show up as yourself.
How We Work
Every piece starts with a feeling: texture, tone, or story. From there, it’s edited down to what belongs together, forming small-batch collections built around mood rather than season or trend.
We source exclusively secondhand, choosing garments for quality, movement, and longevity. Each item is cleaned, steamed, photographed, and styled in-house, with full transparency on condition and fit.
We prioritize accessibility and inclusion across size, gender, and ability. Our DEI x Style framework guides how we describe, photograph, and price each piece, honoring cultural lineage and avoiding tokenism or erasure.
We don’t restock, mass-buy, or chase hype.
We curate slowly, dress consciously, and believe fashion should serve people not systems.
